Northern Tanzania Safari

A safari to Northern Tanzania can take you to some of the most popular and spectacular attractions in Tanzania. These include the vast Serengeti National Park, the spectacular Migration, Kilimanjaro and the Ngorongoro Crater.

There are also a variety of less visited areas including the Tarangire National Park, Mt Meru, the Usambara Mountains and Lake Natron.

Because of the popularity of the Northern Parks we recommend early booking as accommodation tends to get full very early. Camping safaris on the other hand can be arranged at short notice (preferably at least 2 weeks before departure).

The are a variety of cultural activities available as part of a Northern Tanzania Safari, these include visiting a Masai Boma and hunting with the Bushmen at Lake Eyasi.

Please be aware that the Northern Circuit of Tanzania is very popular and if you wish to escape busy tourists routes you may wish to consider southern Tanzania for your safari. In the North you can escape the crowds but this does come at a premium, for example booking private campsites etc.
