Weekend Getaways

If you only have a short time in Tanzania or you are a resident in one of the major towns you may wish to take a weekend getaway. Depending on your starting location and budget there are a variety of destinations to choose from.

We offer a range of trips from relaxing beach breaks on Zanzibar, Pemba or Mafia Islands to short flying safaris or driving safaris to the Selous Game Reserve or the Serengeti. We also have a range of child friendly locations for the family holiday. We can provide a vehicle for you or just book accommodation if you wish to self drive in your own vehicle.

For a short break such as this it makes most sense to keep the distance you travel down to a minimum so you spend less time between locations and more time on safari. This will also keep your costs down. Below are a few examples

For Beach Breaksfrom Dar Es Salaam we suggest:Zanzibar, Pemba or Mafia for flying beach weekends or South Beach and Bagamoyo for driving weekends.

For Safari Weekends from Dar es Salaam we suggest: The Selous Game Reserve , Mikumi National Park , Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Sadaani National Park and Amani Nature Reserve.
