Lobo to the north of the Serengeti and is a wilder region with large granite outcrops nestling in the rolling green hills. Particuarly worth visiting if you like to escape the beaten track. Lobo also supports larger populations of elephant than elsewhere in the park and has excellent birding.
Predators are also in abundance all the year round. However if you wish to see the spectacular Wildebeet Migration visit the Lobo region of the Serengeti from October to September.
