Social Activities in Tanzania include things like going to music concerts, traditional dances, theater performances and the like. If you would like your safari to include the chance to enjoy something like this please let us know.
Regular events like performances at Makunbusho (the Village Museum in Dar Es Salaam) and theater performances at the Bagamoyo College of Art vary dramatically every week. The Zanzibar Music and Film festivals are other larger social events which are well worth visiting.

While visiting one of the lodges on your trip, one night of the week may include some Local Music played by one of the many village bands.
Tanzania plays host yearly to one of the most popular music festivals in East Africa, with hundreds of artists from around the world coming to show you their unique music styles.
When visiting areas in and around local villages, make sure to stop by one of the Village Bars. Most of these are used as a relaxation point after a long day of work.
