Lake Diving

Tanzania is in the Great Lakes region and has shores on Lake Malawi, Lake Tanganika and Lake Victoria.

Lake diving is available in lake Tanganika and is packed with ciclids and catfish, with the added bonus of "topographical diving" - interesting rock formations and swim-throughs, altitude diving - the lake is at 900m, and freshwater diving - you don't need more than a kg!

With over 280 species of cichlid fish and clear waters, Lake Tanganyika is a a fun and different place to dive.
